01. GNM (Male) – 3 years

GNM stands for General Nursing and Midwifery, a three-year diploma course designed for male aspirants who want to pursue a career in clinical nursing. Male Candidates who have successfully passed their 12th standard exam in the Arts, Science, or Commerce stream can pursue the GNM nursing course for males. The program teaches aspirants how to care for individuals who are sick or have been injured in order to help them attain full recovery. Candidates can secure GNM admission by appearing for state-level entrance tests such as WBJEE ANM-GNM etc. One may check out the GNM Syllabus to understand the course curriculum.  


02. B.Sc Nursing (Female) – 4 years

BSc Nursing is an undergraduate degree that aims to prepare students for a career in nursing. It is a 4-year course with theory and practical. Students learn subjects like anatomy, microbiology, biochemistry, psychology and more all within the context of nursing. BSc Nursing Admission is based on merit or entrance exams like the JENPAS (UG) or NEET.


03. Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (Female) – 2 years

BSc Nursing (Post Basic) is a 2 years undergraduate course that is designed to enhance the nursing skills of professionals who already have a background in nursing or a similar field. It provides an advanced level of knowledge related to medical care. The basic eligibility criteria required to pursue the course include candidates having cleared their 10+2 board exams along with a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and having a registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM). PBBSC Nursing is an undergraduate course. Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Admission is based on merit or entrance test JEPBN conducted by WBJEEB.
